The Walt Disney Company’s Big Announcement

Olivia Harvey, Staff Writer

Disney has finally announced its long- anticipated streaming service will be available November 12th in North America and in other areas.

Disney is still in the process of collecting the rights to its contents, which it sold to other streaming platforms before it had platform ambitions of its own. It will take as long as four years before all the deals have expired. The lag could delay or hinder Disney’s chances to succeed in the streaming market. However, when the streaming service, Disney+,  does launch, it will be a streaming juggernaut. Disney+ will bundle together some of the company’s major franchises, such as Pixar, Marvel, National Geographic, and Star Wars. All this will be for a subscription price of $6.99 monthly or $69.99 a year.

Disney +  has finally been announced and people are excited  and ready for it to be here already. Mark your calendars, November 12th is the day it will launch here in the U.S. As for other nations in the world, the U.S. streaming service has plans to expand globally soon.
