Jordan Terrell Carter, better known by his stage names Playboi Carti, Cash Carti, A$AP Carti, and Young Carti is a hip-hop/R&B songwriter that has developed his unique style since he started music in 2008. Jordan was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up in Riverdale, Georgia. He attended North Springs Charter High School in Sandy Springs for a short period of time. Carter skipped class frequently to work on his music or to go to his job at H&M.

Jordan is signed to A$AP Mob’s AWGE Label and Interscope Records. Carti has dropped four albums over the course of his career, two of which made him noticed in the music scene.

Carti started  in the music scene with close friends and acquaintances that he made music with, such as Slug Christ, Uno The Activist, Yung Bans, and Lil Uzi Vert. These artists have earned their  fame, as they may not be as popular as Carti; they are still artists that have grown to have a following and still grow with every song they release.

Cartis third album, Playboi Carti, also known as Self Titled was the album the kick started his career and catapulted him into the music industry with the hit songs off the album, “Magnolia” and “Woke Up Like This (featuring Lil Uzi Vert).”

Jordan has grown to have a net worth of $9 million; he is also appearing in the modeling scene.

He has appeared in modeling for Louis Vuitton, Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 5, VFiles, and Drake’s OVO Lookbook, alongside Ian Connor and John Ross.

Carti encourages the youth to follow their dreams at          any cost as long as they believe they can really accomplish it. As  Jordan Carter said himself, “When you go out, go out with a bang, with anything you do.”
