CloverWorks Studios has really outdone itself with its fall anime: Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai. The anime follows second year student, Sakuta Azusagawa, as he encounters multiple girls suffering from Adolescence Syndrome, a strange phenomenon. He first recognizes that something is wrong, when his sister comes home from school with cuts after being verbally abused by peers at school. Later, he meets a girl dressed as a bunny in the library, who is surprised that he can see her. Thus begins the story of Sakuta’s crush on Bunny Girl Senpai, or famous actor Mai Sakurajima, and their journey together to figure out why nobody can see her anymore.

The anime consists of 13, 25-minute episodes. From the very beginning, the story is quite interesting and peculiar. The content builds up slowly, yet comes together in an instant. It provides a stable emotional roller coaster for fans rooting for Mai and Sakuta to get together. The whole series focuses on different characters and story arcs, so it provides a nice change of pace. It’s ranked pretty high on myanimelist.com at a 8.63/10. The series says Rascal Does Not Dream Of Bunny Girl Senpai, but he really does!
