The Northgate Vikings hosted their last football game of the 2018 season at Henry Seldon field on October 19, 2018. Before the game, the Vikings celebrated 20 seniors that will be leaving the program after this season, leaving a huge hole in the Viking’s starting lineup. The seniors showed out throughout the entire game, outscoring the Tri-Cities Bulldogs 44-28.

The Vikings scored 30 points in the first quarter, beginning with a 4 yard TD run by Cameron Cruver, a senior. Cruver scored 5 TDs for the Vikings in the victory. Jay McKenzie, senior, also contributed with a 12 yard reception for a TD and again in the second quarter with a 12 yard TD run. Other seniors played well for the Vikings on defense, special teams, and offense as well.

The Bulldogs scored 14 points in the second quarter and 14 points in the fourth quarter. They scored on a 11 yard TD pass, 39 yard TD pass, 94 yard TD pass, and a rushing TD. Tri-Cities came up short of the victory though.
