The junior varsity boys and girls soccer season officially started Monday, February 5th. The first game of the Vikings was tough. The girls ended up losing 9-0 in a hard match against East Coweta High School. After the loss, the girls team hoped to come back stronger but could not pull off the “W.” They ended up losing 3-0 against Starrs Mill High School. They hope to come back stronger against Newnan on Monday, February 12th.

The boys started with a tough loss against East Coweta High School. The final score was 3-1, with Harim Echalar scoring the lone goal for the Vikings. Later in the week, the boys also took another “L,” losing to Starrs Mill High School. The final score for this match-up was 4-1, in favor of the Panthers. The boys hope to come back against Newnan as well. This will be a tough challenge for the Vikings, but it should be doable playing as a team.
